FACTS ABOUT HUMSS STRAND

 They always say that HUMSS is the easiest strand, but no it's NOT.

We HUMSS Students should always be prepared for impromptu role plays and performance tasks.

We do a lot of Essay writings, position papers, poems, short stories, narrative writings and other form of writings. Sometimes our minimum words given is 1000. Is that easy?

And take note, we are obliged to present everything in front of the class. What is the essence of it if you are not going to present it in front- our teachers always say.

We always practice our grammar ,pronunciation, analytical and logical thinking.

We do research paper, critic paper, formal and informal writing not just for one subject. So we must learn to manage our time and money.

Yes we do not need to memorize the chemical symbols and its atomic number but what we memorize is the republic acts and the articles of constitutions.

Yes we do not compute such equations that can fill the whole blackboard but we do compute statistically for our research.

Yes we do not study how to account but we do study the process or system by which goods and services are produced, sold, and bought in economics

Yes we do not study the materials that the earth consists but we do study geography and anthropology.

HUMSS focuses on humans and society. So don't say that HUMSS Students are just nothing and that HUMSS is easy just because we do not perform mathematical computations or science experiments. Because our specialization is to study the human world.

Furthermore this strands

revolves around improving the student in writing, reading, and comprehending. Also, it helps you to fasten the seat belt for you when you're entering college and to strengthen your logical reasoning. Humanities teach many fundamental skills such as critical thinking, analysis, and creativity.

So be one of us, be a Humanista too!
